Fifteen people were injured when a tornado struck Wayne, Nebraska, on Friday night.
Ten homes and twenty-seven business were damaged by the twister.
Governor Dave Heineman declared the area a disaster.
Four other tornadoes struck north east Nebraska, while a sixth tornado struck in Iowa.
No major damage or injuries were reported from any of them.

US SEAL Teams Raid Libya and Somalia
Two US SEAL teams made raids in Libya and Somalia, on Saturday.
In Libya, a SEAL team was able to successfully capture Anas al Liby, a leader in Al Qaeda.
Liby is thought to be the man who organized attacks on US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, in 1998.
The other team made a move to grab an Al Shabaab leader in Barawe, Somalia.
They were repelled by heave fire, from Al Shabaab forces.
According to US sources, the SEAL team was unsuccessful in the capture, but was able to kill the leader.
Where as Al Shabaab says that they did lose a fighter, but he was not the leader.
Al Shabaab also claims to have killed at least one of the "invaders" and wounded four more.

Eighty people were killed in terrorist acts, on Saturday, in Iraq.
The biggest attack occurred at a bridge between Adhamiya and Kadhamiya, when a suicide bomber struck a Shiite procession.

Several fires were started by the explosion, but they were eventually controlled.
At a cafe in Balad, sixteen were killed and thirty wounded by a suicide bomber.
Another cafe, in Baya, was struck with bomb, killing three and wounding fifteen.
In Yusufiya, a bomb killed three.
