In a move that could bring down the Italian government, five ministers announced their resignations, on Saturday.
All five of the ministers belong to the People of Liberty Party and they are in a very uneasy alliance with the Democratic Party.
Almost all of the People of Liberty's senators have threatened to quit if their leader is removed from the senate.
Silvio Berlusconi has been convicted of tax fraud and a senate committee is set to vote on whether or not he should be stripped of his seat, due to the conviction.
Berlusconi has also been telling his party to quit the senate if an increase in value added tax isn't revoked, before it takes effect this coming week.
If the senators resign it would force the government to hold new elections.

Golden Dawn is a neo Nazi party, which had been gaining strength, in Greece.
In the last elections they took seven percent of the vote, winning eighteen seats in parliament.
