5 Killed in Belgian Bus Crash

Five people were killed when a bus in Belgium drove off a road, Sunday morning.

It fell eighteen feet off of a bridge and rolled down an embankment, near Ranst.

The bus was filled with forty Russian and Ukrainian teenagers headed to Paris.

Three teens, the driver, and the tour guide were killed in the accident.

Authorities believe that the driver fell asleep, causing the crash.

13 Now Dead From Chinese Bird Flu

Thirteen people have now died from the latest strain of the bird flu.

H7N9 has sickened a confirmed sixty people.

It is also spreading further and further, with four regions now reporting cases.

Officials are greatly concerned by H7N9 as it does not seem to cause sickness or death in birds, only is carried by them, yet is deadly to humans, if not caught early enough.

This makes it nearly impossible to detect before humans start becoming sick.

Authorities are trying to avoid a panic, by pointing out that Tamiflu can be used as a cure, as long as bird flu is caught early enough.

Other countries have begun limiting travel to and from China, while completely banning birds.

Another Iraqi Candidate Killed by Militants

Najam Saeed became the thirteenth Sunni candidate killed during the run up to Iraq's elections.

Saeed's convoy was attacked by militants, Sunday, near Muqdadiyah, about sixty miles north of Baghdad.

He and two of his brothers were killed, while his son and three bodyguards were injured.

Al Qadea is the likely suspect in the attack.

They have been making a campaign against Sunni candidates, in April 20's election.

Al Shabaab Attack Leaves 16 Dead at Mogadishu's Courthouse

Al Shabaab launched an attack on Mogadishu's courthouse, Sunday afternoon, while Somalia's Supreme Court was in session.

The attack, led by nine suicide bombers, lasted over two hours.

All nine bombers were killed, though six were able to blow their explosives.

Seven other people died, bringing the death toll to sixteen, with dozens more injured.

Ugandan troops, in the city as part of an African Union mission, took up defensive positions around the courthouse, after the battle was over.

High Profile French Prisoner Blasts His Way Out of Prison

One of France's most high profile criminals escaped from prison Saturday morning.

Somehow he managed to take four guards hostage and then used explosives to blow doors out, to make his escape.

He then escaped via a car, which has since been found, but with no trace of the prisoner.

Officials are unsure how the explosives made their way into the prison.

Redoine Faid was serving an eight year term, for his part in a failed robbery which left a police officer dead in 2010.

Faid, a lifelong criminal, gained acclamation when he wrote a book about his life of crime.

Since then, he has been highly sought after, by news agencies, as an expert on criminal activity.

Twitter Moving Into Music

Twitter is moving into the music world.

That has been confirmed by multiple sources, including celebrity tweets and the existence of music.twitter.com.

Expectations are for a public announcement to come out sometime this next week.

It is unclear how much the site will compete with other music hosts such as Spotify, but it definitely will.

As long as it is well built, it could easily become the top music streaming service, due to Twitter's ever growing popularity.

North Korea Adds Colorado Springs to Target List, but Misses Location

North Korea's latest propaganda video lists four targets that they are threatening to hit with long range nuclear weapons.

The four cities are Washington DC, Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Colorado Springs.

However, they failed their geography class.

Their map shows Colorado Springs to be approximately in the area of Shreveport, Louisiana.

Right location or not, North Korea's missiles are not thought to be able to reach the US.

Earthquake Injures 22 in Japan

Twenty-two people were injured when a 6.3 quake struck the Hyogo Prefecture, Saturday morning.

Fourteen of the injuries happened in Hyogo, while the other eight were spread across four other prefectures.

Damage was also spread across multiple prefectures.

None of Japan's nuclear plants reported any damage from the earthquake.

8 Killed in Pakistani Bus Explosion

Eight people were killed when a bomb exploded on a bus, in Peshawar, Pakistan, on Saturday.

Seven more passengers were injured in the blast.

No one claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban routinely carries out terrorist activities in the area.

Investigators are trying to determine if it was a suicide bomb, or if someone left the bomb aboard.

Everyone Aboard Survives Airline's Crash Into Sea

A Lion Air 737 missed the runway at Denpasar Airport in Bali, Indonesia, Saturday afternoon.

None of the one hundred and eight aboard were killed, but at least twenty-three were injured.

The plane itself was cracked in half by the impact.

Investigators are working to try and determine the cause of the crash.
