Hamas Captures Drone From Israel

An Israeli drone crashed into the Gaza Strip, on Sunday.

Hamas was able to capture the crashed surveillance aircraft.

Israeli officials said that the drone malfunctioned and control was lost.

The drones are designed to prevent unauthorized personnel from gaining their intel, and the IDF is not worried about Hamas cracking their safeguards.

Ferry Accident Kills 6 in Thailand

Six people were killed in a ferry accident in Thailand, on Sunday evening.

The ferry began sinking off the coast, near Pattaya.

Fifteen people were critically injured and twenty are missing.

Two hundred and twenty-nine people were aboard the ferry, which is only meant for one hundred and fifty.

Most of those aboard were tourists.

Authorities confirmed that two of the dead were Russian.

Cuba Bans Private Movie Theaters

On Saturday, Cuba announced that privately run movie theaters will be shut down.

The government says that such establishments were never authorized and are illegal.

Businesses which have rooms for playing video games will also be closed.

This move comes after the government had been seen as increasingly relaxed on private businesses.

Many see it as a warning sign that the government may try to regain control of other areas of life, as well.

Snowden Leaks Show Europe Spies on Each Other

Another batch of Snowden leaks were released on Saturday.

This batch shows that Western European nations are spying on each other and the US.

France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and the UK are each shown to be running spy programs quite similar to that of the US.

These leaks hurt France and Germany the most, as they had been the most vocal in complaining about previous Snowden leaks that detailed US spy programs.

Meanwhile, Snowden is asking the US to stop calling him a traitor.

He also asked for a pardon, saying that his actions were not that of a traitor, but a patriot.

Journalists From France Killed in Mali

Two French journalists were kidnapped and killed, in Mali, on Saturday.

They were taken in the town of Kidal.

French troops later found their bodies, outside of town.

A massive search is now underway to find their murderers.

The journalists worked for Radio France Internationale.

Protesters Debut 2 New "Death to America" Songs in Iran

Protesters gathered in front of the former US embassy in Tehran, on Saturday.

They came to celebrate the debut of two new "Death to America" songs.

Monday marks the anniversary of the day that the embassy was stormed in 1979.

Massive protests and celebrations are planned to make the day.

Organizers wanted to begin the celebrations on Saturday with the new songs.

Train Accident Kills 10 in India

Ten people were killed and dozens injured in a train accident in Vizianagaram distrcit, India.

Saturday evening's accident occurred when a rumor that the train was on fire caused people to jump out the windows of the moving train.

They jumped out right into the path of another train that was passing by.

Officials expect the death toll to climb, due to the severity of some of the injuries.

Firework Factory Explosion Kills 11 in China

Eleven people were killed by an explosion at a firework factory.

Saturday's explosion happened in Cenxi, Guangxi, China.

The factory was destroyed in the blast.

Officials have arrested two owners of the factory, blaming them for not following safety regulations.

Typhoon Krosa Kills 3 in The Philippines

Three people have been killed in the Philippines by Typhoon Krosa.

Another two people are missing, having been swept away by waters.

Five provinces are reporting more than seventeen thousand homes to be damaged and nearly one hundred and twenty thousand people have been displaced.

China and Vietnam are now being hit by the storm.

LAX Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 6 Injured

A twenty-three year old man entered Terminal 3 of LAX and opened fire, Friday morning.

Six people were struck by his bullets, including thirty-nine year old TSA Officer Gerardo Hernandez, who was killed.

The shooter then rushed further into the terminal, where he was shot and arrested by police officers.

He is under going medical treatment, before being transported to prison.

FBI agents descended upon the suspect's home and that of his parents, as the investigation began.

At this time, no motive is known.

Over seven hundred flights were delayed or diverted due to the shooting and the following investigation.
