Maldives Election Delayed for Third Time
For the third time, the presidential election in the Maldives has been delayed.
On October 7, the supreme court ruled that the September 7 election was invalid, citing irregularities.
Then on October 19, police cancelled the elections, saying not all of the candidates had registered.
Now, on Saturday, the supreme court delayed it yet again, ruling that one of the candidates needed more time to campaign.
These events have happened after former president Mohamed Nasheed looks to be winning the election.
Nasheed was forced from office in February 2012, in what many consider to have been a coup.
He and his supporters accuse the court and police of trying to subvert democracy, again.
The court's decision delays the election six days, despite the fact that the constitution requires a new president by Monday.

Super Typhoon Haiyan Kills 100 in The Philippines
At least one hundred people have been killed, in the Philippines, by super typhoon Haiyan.
