M23 Continues Despite UN Warnings

Despite United Nations warnings to stop, rebels in Congo continue their push forward near Goma.

The M23 rebels are back by Rwanda, and possibly Uganda as well.

Saturday saw UN helicopters fire on M23 positions, in an attempt to halt their progress.

If M23 continues they will be fighting UN troops on the ground as well.

As of last reports, the rebel lines are less than two miles from Goma, which is a provincial capital.

Sources say that around 3,500 Ugandans have now directly joined the rebel army.

UN troops say that the rebels are extremely well equipped.

Israel Eliminates Head of Hamas Rocket Program

Israel carried out another assassination, Sunday afternoon, following the firing of dozens of more rockets out of Gaza.

The target, this time, was the head of Hamas' rocket program, Yahyia Byya.

He was the man responsible for most of the rocket attacks, over the last week.

Other targets were hit as well, by both naval and aerial units.

One air strike wounded journalists, who were present at a Hamas Headquarters, Israel responded to their complaints by warning them not to be near Hamas, for their own safety.

According to Gazan press, over sixty people have been killed by Israeli strikes, some of whom have been civilians.

This comes despite Israel doing everything it can to pinpoint it's strikes, but as long as Hamas uses human shields, there will be civilian casualties.

Israeli Defense Forces are continuing to build up along the border, in case ground assault becomes necessary.

Air raid sirens continue to sound all over southern Israel, as more rockets are fired.

Injuries are mounting on the Israeli side of the border, and they've not gone without their own deaths to the terrorist attacks.

Since Wednesday, over five hundred rockets have struck Israel, while around three hundred more have been stopped by Iron Dome defense batteries.

Another one hundred missed Israel and struck Gaza itself.

At Least Five Killed in Nairboi Grenade Attack

At least five people were killed when a grenade went off, in Nairobi, Kenya.

The Sunday morning attack tore through a minibus, injuring two dozen more.

Al Shabaab, the Somali wing of Al Qaeda, is being blamed for the assault.

The terrorist group began attacks in Kenya, after African Union troop went into Somalia to get rid of Al Shabaab.

Over the past couple months, churches have been a favorite target for them, though lately they've also been targeting Kenyan police.

Their attacks have killed over a hundred Kenyans.

Coast Guard Calls off Search for Missing Oil Worker

The US Coast Guard has called off it's search for an oil worker, missing since Friday.

He was part of a crew working an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, when an explosion occurred.

The body of another missing crewmen was recovered Saturday afternoon, by divers hired by the owner of the rig.

Four of their crew mates were severely burned, and two of them remain in critical condition, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Investigators from the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement are working to discern the cause of the explosion.

No leak was reported from the explosion, mostly in thanks to production already having been stopped.

Pasadena Police Helicopters Collide

Two Pasadena, California police helicopters clipped each other, Saturday afternoon, in Altadena.

The two choppers were passing each other, with one taking off and one landing, when the accident occurred.

Luckily both pilots were able to land their craft, despite severe damage.

All five people aboard the helicopters, plus one on the ground, were taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital, for treatment.

None of their injures are life threatening.

‘Undocumented Lawyer’ Movement Underway to Help Illegal Aliens Obtain Law Licenses

In addition to illegal immigrants in the US obtaining driver’s licenses, taxpayer subsidized college educations and backdoor amnesty, there is now a nationwide push for the right of illegal immigrants to practice law.

The DREAM Bar Association has been lobbying every state in the union to grant law licenses to illegal aliens. This nonprofit organization got its name from the controversial DREAM Act, which would provide a path to US citizenship for illegal immigrants who arrived in the country as children. It also compels states to give discounted tuition to illegal immigrants enrolled in public colleges and universities.

But, as Judicial Watch aptly notes, the right to practice law in this country has always been a privilege. Is it reasonable to extend to people, who have already violated the law by being in this country, the right to practice law?

Even so, the DREAM Bar Association does not, apparently, want to be distracted by such pesky matters as the law. The organization’s mission to produce a deployment of illegal alien attorneys has gained momentum. The DREAM Bar Association is continuing its campaign, in all fifty states, to have legislation passed and rules promulgated in order to ensure the creation of these "undocumented lawyers".

IDF Vehicle Damaged by Syrian Gunfire

On Saturday night gun fire from Syria damaged a vehicle belonging to the Israeli Defense Forces.

The IDF quickly responded with artillery fire aimed at the location from where the gun fire originated.

No Israeli troops were hurt in the attack, unlike Thursday when an IDF trooper was injured when a round from Syria hit him in the chest.

His bullet proof vest saved his life.

The Golan Heights and the border between Syria and Israel, had been otherwise quiet, since Monday's exchange of fire.

Israel Endures Another Day of Terrorist Rockets

Hamas and other Gazan terrorist groups continued their rain of terror throughout Saturday, firing more than sixty rockets at Israel.

Nine Israelis were injured in the attacks, bringing the total for them to three dead and sixty-three injured.

The Israeli Defense Forces have continued precision targeting against sites, from where rockets have been launched, and heightened their campaign against Hamas leaders.

According to Hamas, forty-five Gazans have been killed and 385 wounded.

Israel is facing the possibility of a ground war, and in preparation for such has begun bringing troops to the border.

The Cabinet authorized the call up of seventy-five thousand reservists, twenty thousand of which have already received their orders.

Arab nations have increased their support of Hamas, calling for Israel to stand down, and let the rockets continue.

While more and more European and Western nations are backing Israel, calling for Hamas to end their terrorism, so that Israel can stop.

Hacker group Anonymous says they took down over forty websites, belonging to the Israeli government.

Sources in Israel say only one website actually went down, and that it belonged to a security and cleaning services company.

Train Hits Bus in Egypt, 49 School Children Killed

A bus carrying kindergartners was struck by a train, Saturday, in Egypt.

At least forty-nine are dead and eleven are injured, all of ages four to six.

An error left the crossing open, as the speeding train approached.

Transport Minister Mohammed el-Meteeni has offered his resignation to President Mohammed Morsi.

Prime Minister Hesham Kandil attempted to get to the scene, but people blocked his way.

Residents of the region are now protesting the Morsi government, demanding he and Kandil step down.

Blue to Gold: ARMY SSG Rayvon Battle Jr

ARMY SSG Rayvon Battle Jr., twenty-five, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, died November 13, in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.
According to the Department of Defense, Staff Sgt. Rayvon Battle Jr., twenty-five, of Rocky Mount, NC, died Nov. 13, in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

He was assigned to the 38th Engineer Company, 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, which is attached to Headquarters, 7th Infantry Division at Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

According to unit records, Staff Sgt. Battle entered the Army in June 2005 and reported to Fort Leonard Wood, MO for Army Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training MOS 12B (Combat Engineer).

Upon graduation from AIT, he arrived at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, in November 2005. He was assigned to 1st Special Forces Group Support Battalion, as a gunner. He deployed with the unit to Iraq from May 2008 to February 2009. In September 2009, he was assigned to the 38th Engineer Company as a team leader. He deployed to Iraq from February 2010 to September 2010. In November 2012, he deployed to Afghanistan, this time as a squad leader.

Staff Sgt. Battle’s civilian and military education includes a high school diploma (2005), Military Occupational Specialty 12B: Combat Engineer (2005), Combat Lifesaver and Tactical Combat Medical Care Courses (2006), Airborne School (2007), Combatives Level I (2007), Bus Drivers Course (2007), Warrior Leaders Course (2011), Information Assurance Certification Program (2011), Short Range Marksmanship Course (2011), Combatives Level 2 (2011), and the Advanced Leaders Course (2012).

His awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (2nd award), National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with 3 campaign stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral “2”, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon with Numeral “2”, Combat Action Badge, Parachutist Badge and Driver’s Badge.
