On Wednesday, Jamaica and other Caribbean islands dealt with Hurricane Sandy, at the time it was only a Category 1 storm.
Sandy forced the closure of both international airports, in Jamaica, and the government placed the entire island under a curfew.
One Jamaican man died when a boulder rolled through his house, and in Haiti a woman drowned trying to cross a roaring flooded river.
The Bahamas are bracing for their chance through the storm, on Friday, after which the storm is expected to make it's way to Florida and then straight up the US coast.
