I25 Shut Down Due to Presidential Debates in Denver on Wednesday

The first Presidential debates are taking place this Wednesday night, at Denver University.

One of the biggest things this is affecting, in Denver, is that I25 will be shut down from 5-10pm MDT.

Yes, that's going to affect a lot of traffic for the metro area.

University and Buchtel Boulevards will be closed for shorter times, so don't try using them at all, in the area of DU.

Bus routes will be affected by the closures, but the light rail is supposed to be going as normal.

Semi trucks and other vehicles will not be allowed on I25 between I-225 and I-76 from 3-11pm MDT nor on Santa Fe Drive (US 85) between I25 and Hampden Avenue (US 285) and on Hampden Avenue between Santa Fe Drive and I25 from 3-10pm MDT.
