Two Iron Dome defense batteries were placed in northern Israel, on Sunday.
It came after Israel once again warned Syria about keeping it's chemical weapons secure.
Israel fears that Syria's chemical weapons will be captured by terrorist groups, which fight on both sides of the civil war, and turned against Israel.
Syria is known to have mustard gas, Sarin, and VX nerve agents; they may also have other chemical weapons.
Back on December 6, Syria was caught preparing bombs full of Sarin.
Those bombs have not been used and once prepared only have a shelf life of sixty days, after that time they must be destroyed.
With about a week left, Syria must use or destroy them.
