Saudi Arabia Lifts Ban on Bikes For Women

Saudi Arabia announced that they are lifting a law that barred women from riding bicycles.

Several new rules were placed as restrictions to "protect" women, as they ride the bikes.

Women will be required to wear black abayas while riding the bicycles, making it cumbersome at best, to do so.

They will not be allowed to travel alone, they must have a male relative present at all times.

Nor can they actually travel using the bicycles; use will be limited for recreation only.
