1 Killed in Tunisian Clashes

One person was killed and at least twenty injured as protesters clashed with police, in Bizerte, Tunisia, on Tuesday.

Most of the protesters were vendors angry over being told to relocate, by the city.

Officials in Bizerte allocated a new area for the main market, to clear space for development, in the downtown.

The vendors refused to move and began lighting the market area on fire.

When police arrived, the protesters threw bottles, rocks, and gasoline bombs at them.

Police responded by throwing tear gas into the crowd, forcing them to disperse.
