Warrant Officer Sean W. Mullen, thirty-nine of Dover, Delaware, died on June 2.
He was killed when his unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device, in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan.
Mullen was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Among his completed courses were: Special Forces Qualification Course, Warrant Officer Technical and Tactical Certification Course, Advanced Special Operations Technical Course, Special Forces Medical Course, Special Operations Combat Medical Skills Sustainment Course, Total Army Instructor Training Course, Warrior Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course, Senior Leader Course, Combat Life Savers Course; Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape Course; Combatives Level 1, Pathfinder Course, Static Line Jumpmaster Course, Infantry Mortar Leaders Course, and Airborne Course.
