Forty-four people were killed in a series of attacks in Iraq, on Thursday.
The attacks began when gunmen attacked two different oil field check points, killing eleven guards near Haditha.
A car bomb went off at a funeral in Muqdadiya, and as people rushed to help the wounded a suicide bomber blew his vest up. Eleven people were killed there.
Four people were killed by a car bomb in Baghdad.
Three separate roadside bombs in Tikrit, killed three police officers.
In Mosul, three different car bombs left four police dead.
Attacks in Anbar killed seven police.
Outside of Kirkuk gunmen attacked a checkpoint, killing three Sahwa, while inside Kirkuk a roadside bomb killed another member of the militia.
