China and Russia to Hold Joint Naval Drill

On Tuesday, China announced that they will be sending seven naval vessels to hold joint drills with Russia.

Four destroyers, two guided missile cruisers, and a support ship are heading to the Sea of Japan and meet with their Russian counterparts.

It will be the largest naval drills that China has held with any other nation.

The drills are scheduled to begin on Friday and go through June 12.

Russia and China began drilling together over the last decade.

Over the last few years China has also begun drills and training with other nations, as well.
