2 Dead After Plane Crash in Illinois

Two people were killed when a plane crashed in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

It happened Wednesday evening, in the town outside of Chicago.

Officials say that the plane was trying to make it to the nearby Clow International Airport, but fell short.

As it came down it clipped a tree, a light pole, and three vehicles.

The pilot was severely burnt in the fire which resulted from the crash and died later at the hospital, while a female passenger was killed instantly.

No one on the ground was hurt, as all three cars involved were parked in a lot.
