Tony Abbott, Australia's New Prime Minister

Australian's said no to the Labor party, on Saturday, and voted in the Liberal-National coalition.

After six years in power, the Labor party could only gain fifty-seven seats.

The coalition captured eighty-eight of the country's one hundred and fifty parliamentary seats.

Three small parties each took a seat each, and two more are still being counted.

Tony Abbott, the leader of the coalition will be the new Prime Minister.

Abbot has promised tax cuts as well as budget cuts, specifically targeting the carbon tax and foreign aid.

He also pledged to cut down on illegal immigration and work to promote international businesses investing in Australia.
