Thirty-seven people were killed and six seriously injured when a suicide bomber blew up a truck with over a ton of explosives, in Syria.
The blast struck at a checkpoint in Hama.
Twenty-three other vehicles, multiple shops, and homes were destroyed in the blast.
Firefighters were kept busy trying to contain and put out the fires from so many burning vehicles.
No one claimed responsibility for the attack.
It was the second time in two days that a checkpoint had been the target of a suicide bombing.
