On Monday, unknown assailants attacked a state run TV station, in Cairo.
The assault began with rocket propelled grenades being fired at the building and it's dishes.
Gunfire followed the grenades, but the assailants disappeared as security forces approached.
There were no reports of injuries, due to the attack.
Near the Suez Canal, six soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber.
Both incidents point to a rise in terrorist activity, in Egypt.
No one has claimed responsibility for either attack, however the government is blaming the Muslim Brotherhood.
