Concerns are high as the storm is showing signs of being the strongest storm to ever exist in the Indian Ocean.
Forecasts show that it could easily have winds around two hundred miles per hour.
Many analysts are comparing the storm to Hurricane Katrina, which struck the US in 2005.
More than six million people are in the path of the storm.
The Indian government began evacuations, on Friday, and placed the military on alert.
