Five people were killed when tornadoes went through Illinois, on Sunday.
Across the state over one hundred people were injured.
The cities of Coal City, Pekin, and Washington were the hardest hit, with hundreds of buildings damaged or destroyed across them.
Entire sections of Washington are completely destroyed
Governor Mike Pence called out the National Guard to help with search, rescue, and clean up efforts.
As many as seventy-seven tornadoes touched down in Illinois, and the neighboring states.
The storm caused power outages across the region.
It also caused the cancellation of more than two hundred flights at Chicago O'Hare International Airport and delays there and at several other airports.
