North Korea Continues Reactor

North Korea has resumed construction on their experimental light water reactor, at Yongbyon.

The work comes as the North continues to prepare for an underground nuclear test.

Work could be completed on the reactor with the next two years.

When fully operational, this facility would be capable of producing enough enriched uranium for another bomb, each year.

It is expected for this reactor to be but a prototype for later ones.

Unless China completely cuts off the country from aid, there is little more the world can do, to stop the construction.

Beer Drinking Bride Controversy

In New Zealand, a picture of a contestant at the Bride of the Year competition, raised a large controversy.

Thirty-four women were competing, but only one of them was captured drinking a beer.

To some this was unbecoming of a bride. The bride in question, Katrina Hayman, replied that no one would have cared if she had it been drinking a glass of wine.

"I mean that is just the type of person I am. I don't like to portray myself as someone I am not. A lot of females drink beer and it's just I felt more comfortable having a beer than having a wine."

As of time of this posting, an online poll showed that 62.9% saw no problem with a bride drinking beer, 13.3% said it was tacky, whilst 23.8% said it was ok, but that it should be out of a fancy glass.

Hayman ended up not winning the contest.

Preview: Men in Black 3

Black suits coming, once again, cause good guys wear black. Men in Black III is almost here.

In the third part of the series, Agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) disappears and, without his presence, an alien invasion is coming.

Agent J (Will Smith) finds himself the only one remembering K as having been alive since 1969, so he goes back in time to save young K (Josh Brolin) from being assassinated.

With only twenty-four hours to accomplish the mission of saving K, and restoring the timeline to save earth, the movie should be fast paced.

Expect the same comical lines and action as were in the first two movies.

Men in Black III hits American theaters this Friday, May 25.

Remembering: Lindbergh and The Spirit of St. Louis

A challenge had been placed, to be the first to fly non stop between New York and Paris, and to do so alone.

The prize of $25,000 drew many famous pilots from across America and Europe.

One of the pilots to join was a relatively unknown air mail pilot, Charles Lindbergh.

Lindbergh commissioned a small monoplane, which had designed and then named after the city of St. Louis, who had been his chief sponsor.

On May 20, 1927, Lindbergh and The Spirit of St. Louis took off, barely making it off the ground due to all the weight of gas cans that it was carrying.

His main challenge being staying awake, Lindbergh flew 3,610 miles in thirty-three and a half hours, and won the prize, becoming an international celebrity.

US Looking Into Fat Tax

The US government is looking at creating a 'fat tax' that would set a tax on any foods which have unhealthy fats in them. Currently a tax of around twenty percent is being considered.

Health researchers say that such a tax would reduce obesity, just as taxes on cigarettes have cut down on smoking. They suggest that obesity could be cut by three and a half percent.

Some European nations, such as France and Denmark, have already put such taxes in to place.

Sodas specifically would be a target of such a tax, as the sugar they contain increases appetite, instead of satisfying it.

However, according to economic studies, such a tax would hurt food industries and cause mass job loss.

Politically such a move could be dangerous as well. Any kind of tax increase could be difficult to force upon Americans who are already growing increasingly unhappy with their government's attempts to take more and more control of their lives.

Any future acting will be comedy and drama. "I want to show audiences I can act."

SpaceX Launch Delayed by Glitch

SpaceX's Falcon 9, which had been scheduled to launch early this morning, found itself canceled with half a second left on the countdown.

Engine 5 was giving off readings that indicated too much pressure in the chamber.

For safety purposes the launch was halted as soon as the high readings began occurring.

Falcon 9's launch is now rescheduled for Tuesday.

The launch, and mission, will mark the first time that a privately owned capsule has docked with the International Space Station.

1200 pounds of non essential cargo is being carried aboard the Dragon Capsule, which Falcon 9 is supposed to take into space.

SpaceX Set to Launch

On Saturday, May 19, SpaceX will launch it's first mission to the international space station.

This will mark the first time that any private company has done so.

The Dragon Capsule is being launched on Falcon 9, from Kennedy Space Center.

It will bring supplies to the astronauts in the space station, much in the way the NASA shuttles used to.

A reusable spacecraft, the Dragon Capsule sends reminders of the craft used in Apollo missions.

Critical Race Theory War: The Truth is Out There

In Thomas Sowell’s piece A Censored Race War, The media ignore racially motivated black-on-white crime he states "…race hustlers like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson but also lesser-known people in the media, in educational institutions, and elsewhere who hype grievances and make all the problems of blacks the fault of whites."

It is the likes of Sharpton and Jackson who perpetuate the hate and incite the black on white violence. They are also the ones who used the death of Trayvon Martin to attempt to further their Critical Race war, to make him a martyr for their cause. The proof of this is crystal clear when you look at who they choose to promote their critical race theory war.

As John T. Bennett points out in Critical Race Theory: A Cult of Anti-White Resentment "Critical race theorists do not merely look at racial questions. Like zealots, they give answers; they preach a doctrine, seek converts, and condemn nonbelievers. Indeed, Critical Race Theory is the primary source of Orwellian 'hate speech' proposals." What better way to promote the hate than to use someone, such as Trayvon Martin, as a poster boy for the cause. Sharpton and Jackson, today's Critical Race Theory biggest proponents, were quick to snatch up Martin as their martyr.

The media, the same one who ignores the black on white violence, paints the picture of the small, innocent black child brutally, purposefully gunned down by a racist white man. As more and more details were revealed and continue to be revealed, the case isn’t as black and white as the media portrayed it to be. While all the details of the case haven’t been released and the case has not gone to trial, what is clear is that this is not a simple case of a white man shooting a black boy. The lines begin to blur and the color fades to grey as more and more information about the case is released.

The shining poster child has been found, upon autopsy, to have marijuana in his system at the time of his death and witness statements state that Martin was on top of Zimmerman, beating him, at the time of the incident. Information on Zimmerman shows that he is not white, but of mixed race, mostly Hispanic, with a white father but also a black great-grandfather. A photo shown on Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN by Orlando Attorney Mark NeJame is said to show George Zimmerman's great-grandfather.
Above is Zimmerman's grandmother, and his mother is in the man's arms
according to Orlando Attorney Mark NeJame.
Sharpton must have seen something of value in order to make Trayvon Martin his poster child. Perhaps the answer is in the assumption was that Martin was an innocent black child and Zimmerman a racist white man. Additional evidence is that Sharpton, Jackson and the media skirt the truth or modify, edit information or invent "truth" in order to validate the martyrdom such as edited 911 calls or calling Zimmerman a 'white' Hispanic.

This becomes even more apparent when you realize that not only are the black on white crimes ignored, but observing the circumstances surrounding the deaths of black people whose deaths are not publicized by Sharpton and the like. It is striking to note that another young Sanford man was killed just 3 months before the death of Trayvon Martin. Brian Robinson's body was found in neighboring Osteen, FL on Thursday, November 3, 2011. Robinson’s death was ruled a homicide, the identity of the killer is still unknown. Sharpton, Jackson or the national media have never even mentioned Robinson.

Why did the case of Trayvon Martin gain the attention of Sharpton, Jackson, and national media while Brian Robinson's did not? Was it because his mother didn’t 'care' the way Martin's mother did? No, Brian's mother is still posting fliers asking for any information about the murder. Someone continues to take down the fliers and she continues to put them up. There is a $1000 reward, yet there still have been no arrests.

Surely a mother who is still posting fliers would accept Sharpton's help were it offered. But it wasn't offered. Why hasn't Al Sharpton, and the like, picked up this case and coddled it like they did Martin's case? Though Brian is black, the color of his attacker(s) is unknown, thereby rendering the case useless for the critical race theory baiting of Sharpton.

It has become clear that the Critical Race Theory army is being successful in gaining support of the media. They play along with the Critical Race Theory. Either they are buying in to the 'poor me' cries of the Critical Race Theory proponents or they are simply afraid of being called racist.

Sharpton and Jackson, two of the most notorious leaders of the Critical Race Theory movement are not helping the black population advance, they are keeping them as victims and insisting that blacks be treated differently than all other people. The media is helping them by elevating some stories with an attempt to focus the attention of the nation on the cases that support Critical Race Theory and overlooking those that don't. This is an attempt to keep the nation oblivious to the fact that there are other forms of racism, black on white hate for example.

Fortunately, with social media, citizen reporters and bloggers, the media is no longer the only source of information out there. As Mulder said in the X-Files, "the truth is out there" and it will come out.

Hewlett Gulch Fire Intensifies

Wednesday evening, the Hewlett Gulch Fire was still only around 200 acres. Over the night and during Thursday, it jumped to an estimated 7,300 acres.

The fire which started Monday, twenty miles NW of Fort Collins, Colorado, has forced evacuations of fifteen homes at this point. The number is low due to the isolated location of the fire.

Due to the isolation, it has been difficult for firefighters to get to the lines.

Winds were the primary factor in spreading the fire. They've also made it difficult for air crews to join the fight effectively.

At this point firefighters are hoping that the fire will be unable to cross the Poudre River, and for the winds to die out.
