With very little time left before the scheduled late night vote on the so called "Plan B" bill, Speaker Boehner pulled it.
Speaker Boehner cited that the bill had a lack of support necessary to pass the House.
The bill most likely would have died in the Senate. Too many Republican senators would have opposed it due to its call to raise taxes on job creators. The lap dog Democratic-Socialists in the Senate would have heeled to Obama's threat to veto the bill. The RINOs and the Blue Dogs would have amended it to death, leaving it a mess.
In the house itself, Nancy Pelosi rallied the Democratic Socialists against the bill, though it was mostly her plan to begin with. Tea Party caucus representatives such as Paul Ryan would have voted against it because it fails to make any declared cuts in spending, particularly in entitlement spending and ridiculous so called "stimulus" grants such as the one to test shrimp on an underwater treadmill.
Freedomworks and other conservative activist organizations pushed for letters, emails, and last minute phone calls to Representatives and to Speaker Boehner's office calling for Plan B to be pulled. The general consensus among conservative voters is that the GOP needs to show leadership in putting forth a plan demanding budget and spending cuts, broadening the tax base, and not increasing any tax rates.

UNSC Approves Troops to Mali
The United Nations Security Council unanimously approved a plan to send troops into Mali.
A force of thirty-three hundred, African troops, was approved under the plan.
Their mission will be to stabilize the country and remove Al Qaeda linked groups, who've taken over most of the country.
They will also seek to establish peace talks with other rebel groups, who are not linked to the terrorist group.
The troops are not expected to be ready until September of 2013, bringing doubt to whether or not the mission will have any success, as by then the entire nation may have fallen.

5 Year Old Goes Through Experimental Surgery
Rosie Davies was born with spinal segmental dysgenesis.
About four inches of her spine and backbone were missing leading to paralysis in her legs, which had been curled up against her chest, since birth.
It is a life threatening disorder as it causes the upper body to crush down on the vital organs, since the support is missing.
Doctors knew it was just a matter of time until she died from the growing pressure.
In a thirteen hour surgery, doctors at Birmingham Children's Hospital amputated her legs, and used bone from them to create a bone graft replacing her missing spine and back bone.
Such an operation had never been done before.
Since the surgery, the five year old has begun feeling the tops of her legs, for the first time ever.
That is a great sign for her, as it means prosthetic legs will one day be possible for her, and she could eventually walk.

He will not be playing in it and is currently looking for someone to play the younger version of himself.

Misunderstanding Led to Police Search for Toy Thief
A misunderstanding led to a police search, on Tuesday, in Colorado.
Sixty-five year old retired Gunnery Sergeant Doug Mix had been collecting Toys for Tots bins, but he wasn't authorized to do so.
When it was reported that an unauthorized man was taking the toys, the Marines, police, and Toys for Tots all announced that they were being stolen.
As soon as Mix heard that he was wanted, he called the Marines in charge of the drive, and met with them to explain.
For over a decade he has collected toys and given them out to children waiting for buses, along Colfax, as well as at women's shelters.
What he didn't realize is that all donations to Toys for Tots need to be accounted for, before they can be handed out.
No charges were pressed against Mix, and it is expected that starting next year, he'll become an official part of Colorado's Toys for Tots drive.
