1 Killed, 3 Injured, 3 Missing in Colorado Mudslide and Flooding

Pouring rain led to mudslides and flooding near Manitou Springs, Colorado, Friday evening.

Nearly one and a half inches of rain fell in about half an hour.

One person was killed and three more injured as the mud and water swept cars and buildings with it.

Another three people are missing.

Highway 24 was swamped with mud, while Highway 50 closed due to flooding.

Authorities are describing the damage as "significant" in Manitou Springs.

They expect much of the weekend to be spent cleaning up, clearing streets, and figuring out just how much damage was done.

4 Bodies Pulled From Connecticut Homes Struck by Plane

Late Friday night, four bodies were pulled from the burned out home struck by an airplane, in Connecticut.

As it crashed, the Rockwell International Turbo Commander 690B struck two homes, lighting them both on fire.

Two children were inside one of the homes and presumed to be two of the bodies.

The other two are though to belong to the pilot of the plane and his teenage son, who was a passenger on the plane.

Both the FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of the crash.

56 Police Injured in Belfast Riot

Fifty-six police were injured during a riot in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The police were defending a republican parade from loyalist protesters.

Loyalists began attacking the officers, throwing bricks, bottles, fireworks, and pieces of glass and metal.

Police deployed two water cannons after the rioters began lighting cars on fire.

As officers began to go down with injuries, police fired plastic baton rounds into the mob, which helped regain control.

For the most part the police were successful in keeping the two sides apart, but some clashes between republicans and loyalists did occur, leaving two civilians injured.

Bus Crash in Morocco Kills 16 Royal Guardsmen

Sixteen members of Morocco's Royal Guard were killed when their bus plunged down a ravine.

Forty more were injured as the bus fell around six hundred feet.

Eight of those are in serious condition.

The Royal Guard is in charge of security for the royal family.

They were heading to al-Hoceima, to prepare for the king's visit.

Mount Rokatenda Kills 6 as it Erupts in Indonesia

Six people were killed when Mount Rokatenda erupted in Indonesia, on Saturday.

Ash was thrown well over a mile into the air, while lave streamed down into Rokirole village.

Around three thousand people were evacuated from Palue island.

The volcano had been becoming more active since October 2012.

3 Missing After Plane Crashes Into 2 Connecticut Homes

Three people are missing, and presumed dead, after a small plane crashed into a Connecticut suburb.

The Rockwell International Turbo Commander 690B struck two homes, lighting them both on fire.

Two children were inside one of the homes and they are not accounted for, nor is the plane's pilot.

Governor Daniel Malloy mentioned that there may have been another two people aboard the plane, but their presence has not been confirmed.

The FAA and NTSB will investigate the crash, once the recovery effort is complete.

Military Plane Belonging to Ethiopia Crashes in Mogadishu

Four people were killed when their airplane crashed and burst into flames in Mogadishu, on Friday.

The plane was an Ethiopian military transport, with a crew of six, bringing in weapons and ammunition for the peace keeping force.

Somalian authorities have shut down the airport, while the fire is put out, an investigation is made, and the pieces of the plane are cleared from the airport.

At this time there is no word on what may have caused the plane to burst into flames or why it crashed.

Morsi Supporters Renew Protest in Egypt

Thousands of Egyptians protested in Cairo and other cities, once again demanding that former president Morsi be brought back to power.

In Fayoum, security forces used tear gas to separate fights between Morsi's supporters and his opponents.

Twelve people were injured there, including five police officers.

Four people were injured in Gharbiya, in clashes there, where police arrested thirteen Morsi supporters.

The main protest took place at the Rabaa camp, in northeast Cairo, where security forces have told them to leave.

There was no violence at Rabaa, on Friday, but the city is holding it's breath waiting for it to begin.

Drone Strike From Israel Kills 5 Militants in Egypt

According to Egyptian sources, an Israeli drone made an air strike into the Sinai, on Friday.

They also say that it was in conjunction with the Egyptian military.

A rocket launcher was destroyed and five militants were killed, in the strike.

Israel had no comment about the incident, neither confirming or denying that it even occurred, let alone any involvement.

Quetta Shooting Leaves 9 Dead in Pakistan

Nine people were killed and ten wounded in a shooting in Quetta, Pakistan, on Friday.

Four gunmen opened fire on worshipers as they left Eid prayers at a Sunni mosque.

Authorities believe that a former provincial minister may have been the target, as he had been attending prayers there.

The gunmen got away before security forces arrived.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
