Georgia Man Dies After Falling 65 Feet During Braves Game

A man fell sixty-five feet to his death at Turner Field, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Monday night's accident happened during a Brave's baseball game.

Thirty year old Ronald Lee Homer Jr. was sitting in the upper deck and went over the railing.

Police believe that it was the result of an accident.

It was the third falling death, at the stadium, since 2008.

Israel Uses Iron Dome to Shoot Down Rocket Attack Aimed at Eilat

Militants launched a rocket at Eilat, Israel, on Tuesday morning.

Iron Dome was standing by and was successful in intercepting and shooting down the terrorist strike.

This was the first time that Iron Dome had been used in the area around Eilat.

The terrorist group Ansar Jerusalem claimed responsibility for the rocket attack.

Riots in Bangladesh Leave 40 Injured

Riots took place in several cities in Bangladesh, on Tuesday.

At least forty people were injured and thirty-four arrested as members of Jamaat-e-Islam clashed with police.

The worst of the violence took place in Barisal, Bogra, Comilla, and Rajshahi.

Rioters used at least fifteen bombs and torched thirty-four vehicles, during the violence.

Police responded with tear gas and rubber bullets, as they fought to control the protesters.

US Army: Specialist Keith E. Grace Jr.

Specialist Keith E. Grace Jr., twenty-six of Baytown, Texas, died on August 11.

He and two others, from his unit, were killed by indirect enemy fire, in Paktia Province, Afghanistan.

Grace was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

US Army: Staff Sergeant Octavio Herrera

Staff Sergeant Octavio Herrera, twenty-six of Caldwell, Idaho, died on August 11.

He and two others, from his unit, were killed by indirect enemy fire, in Paktia Province, Afghanistan.

Herrera was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Sergeant Jamar A. Hicks, twenty-two of Little Rock, Arkansas, died on August 11.

He and two others, from his unit, were killed by indirect enemy fire, in Paktia Province, Afghanistan.

Hicks was assigned to the 4th Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Florida Condo Building Torn in Half by Sinkhole

Late Sunday night, residents of condos in Clermont, Florida woke up to the sound of their building collapsing.

Firemen rushed through the building evacuating every unit, as a sink hole grew beneath it.

Early Monday morning, the building gave up it's fight and collapsed into the fifteen foot deep hole.

The three story building was torn in half, damaged beyond repair.

No injuries were reported, as the evacuation was completely successful.

A neighboring building was evacuated, as a precaution, and was checked out for structural integrity before residents were allowed back in.

Prince Friso of The Netherlands Dies at 44

Forty-four year old Prince Friso, of The Netherlands, died on Monday morning.

He had been in a coma since February 17, 2012, after being buried in an avalanche.

While he was rescued, he suffered significant brain trauma, and barely survived.

According to an official statement, released by the palace, Friso's wife Mabel, and his mother the former Queen Beatrix were at his side when he finally succumbed to his injuries.

The news came as a surprise as he had finally been released from the hospital, and allowed to live in the Hague, in July.

His brother, King Willem-Alexander, was on vacation in Greece, when the news reached him and he is now on his way home.

Russia's Tank Biathlon Goes International

As Russia prepares to hold the first ever international tank biathlon championships, on Monday, they're already busy planning the 2014 season.

To start it off they've invited the US and other NATO nations to participate in it.

According to Russian sources, the US has accepted the invitation and is begin preparations for it's own competitions.

Tank biathlons consist of a twelve and a half mile course, with moving targets that will require the tank to use all of it's weapons, not just the main gun.

The winner is the tank to make the fastest time through the course, with the best accuracy.

Monday's is the first international event, with Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan joining their Russian hosts.

Russia has already held tank biathlons, but only between it's own units, as have the other three countries as they prepared for the international games.

India and Pakistan Continue Fire Exchange

India and Pakistan continued their exchange of fire, on Monday.

Pakistan says that a civilian was killed by India's shelling.

The two countries have been exchanging machine gun fire and shelling, since Tuesday when five Indian soldiers were killed.

In each round, the countries accuse each other of beginning it, and say they were just returning fire.

The daily fire exchange has heightened tensions between the two countries, which have a ten year cease fire, but no actual peace treaty between them.
