Some Thoughts on Wisconsin

Wisconsin Democrats flee state in order to avoid voting on the budget.
Seriously?
Are you 5 and didn't want to do the dishes, so you ran away from home?
Either get yourselves back into Madison, and vote what the people want, or resign so that the governor can call for new elections. If you don't have the intelligence or backbone to do either, then just stay gone.
Hopefully the rest of Wisconsin's congress and the Governor will declare you in contempt of their call to return, and begin impeachment proceedings, so that the vote might continue.

To add to it, the SEIU, is calling on unions from out of state to join in protesting the proposed budget. Not just in words mind you, but in person.
Might be time for Wisconsin to close the borders whilst this is taken care of.
And definitely is the time for Tea Party and other conservatives from around there to counter the protests, with visible support.

To the Wisconsin congress and governor now barricaded inside the capitol (for fear of their safety from the mob outside), keep up the fight. We The People are with you. We are praying, and help is coming.

Thoughts on Conservative's biggest obstacle

As some (I wish I could say all) of you know my last blog was an attempt to start a nationwide rally that would've been held this Saturday, to protest the Senate's failure to repeal healthcare. Almost immediately I was being told that 8 days was not enough notice. To me that originally just seemed more of a challenge, but very sadly it became quickly apparent, that they were right.
Even more sadly, I've seen liberal rallies go from idea to occurence in under 24 hours.
So why is it that conservatives can't make a rally happen in just over a week, yet liberals can in less than a day?
There are several reasons, but the biggest is part of what makes conservatives, conservatives. Love of the status quo.
Liberals want change, and so they'll act for it. Conservatives want to be left alone, they don't want to have to step up, and so try to avoid upsetting anything.
Eventually if you piss off a conservative, you can definitely get them going, but unless they maintain their levels of aggravation, they calm down, and it will take them even longer to rise up again.
If conservatives are going to win, they have find a way to overcome their natural desire to stay out of it, and not just for one vote or one Glenn Beck rally, but for as long as necessary to overcome liberalism and to keep it from returning.
They need to not just be able to rally at short notice, but be prepared to do so for as long as it takes.
Question remains how do we as conservatives make that change?

Calling All American Citizens

As we all now know, the Senate has failed to repeal Obama's Healthcare. 47-51, and the traitors to the Constitution and this nation of The United States of America, have chosen their side.
They've ignored the voices of the people from November.
I find it very interesting timing that they've done this at this time of year.
Next Saturday, Februrary 12, 2011, we celebrate the 202nd birthday of President Abraham Lincoln.
I believe it would be a good day for the people of the United States to stand up for their rights against a government that no longer stands for the people, but has brought tyranny through the imposition of unconstitutional taxation.
As Americans we are guaranteed the right to peaceful protest.
In support of that right I call upon my fellow citizens to join me, by gathering at each state's capitol to protest the continuance of a government headed away from the will of the people. To call for each state, and its citizens, to consider impeachment of those who voted against the repeal. And if necessary to call for new elections, so that We The People may actually have representation in our government.
If you believe in The United States of America, and The Republic founded therein, I ask you to join me at your state's capitol, at 1pm MST, and spread the word for all true Americans to do so.

Mission Adam Baldwin

It has been decided that we will make it our goal to see every movie/tv show that Adam Baldwin has been in. Some of the unmarked ones have been seen already, but must be rewatched for him.
I've eliminated video games, and cartoons. There are still quite a few, so this will not happen right away, but we shall accomplish this.

Denver's Biggest Bra Drive

On December 7, 2010 a nondenomination Christian church, called The Next Level, had a benefit concert at a music venue called the Gothic Theatre, in Denver, CO. The goal was to raise $5,000 to make a well through Charity Water. The goal was not only reached, but a total over $16,000 was reached, paying for a little over 3 wells.
On Feburary 22, 2011 TNL is having another go at the Gothic. This time the goal is to have 5,000 bras donated. The bras will be given to Free The Girls, a charity that gives former victims of human/sex trafficking, jobs repairing gently used bras, and then sells them to help the women further enrich their lives.
The concert will be proceeded by dinner at Cafe 180, a pay what you can diner. Andrea Ball will be performing music, along with the TNL band. This will be followed by a post event happy hour at TNL's offices.

State of The Union

Our soldiers fight to make the world a safer place for us. We must fight to keep America a safe place for them to come home to. If we do not, then eventually we all will have to fight on our own soil to regain our lost freedoms, not with words and elections, but with the blood and lives of American patriots, in a Secondnd War of Independence. Not from foreign lords, but homegrown liberals. For they are the true, and foremost enemies that we face now.
Such an event would be of untold sorrow and destruction, and I wish in no way for it to actually happen. Towards this we must, as a unifed people work to ensure it does not become a neccesity.
In the past there was a place for middle gound, but no more. We have reached another 'all or nothing' place in American history. Each and every American must decide whether they will fight for or against her. Perhaps never before has there been such a dramatic point of 'either you are for us or against us'.
In the coming weeks we will see if our latest Congress is for us or not. If they show themselves not to be, then we must take the steps necessary towards their impeachment and replace them with another set, who will do as 'We The People' demand.
I see many counting down the days til Obama is out of office. I say this is not good enough. We must demand of our representative leadership that he be impeached well before then.
There is no room for Mr. Obama (whether he be citizen or not) and his liberal cronies, at the head of this conservative republic of The United States of America, 'One Nation Under God'.

Rough Beginnings

Upon deciding to create a blog, I knew I must find a fitting title for it. Knowing that this blog would not be directed towards any specific topic, I wanted the title to represent not just my eclectic variety of topics, but also my own desire to be growing and building something more with my life, not just personally but also for my future family and for my beloved country. I truly feel that "Under Construction: A Journey Through Life" describes me and what I hope to accomplish from its pages.
For now I must apologize for the roughness of the site. My primary, and really only, access to the net is through my droid. I've found that tis very difficult to edit settings from on here, but still feel that I should continue anyways, whether the site is all prettified or not ;) Hopefully soon this shall be rectified, and I will gain access with a real comp and make my blog shiny. Til then, and hopefully afterwards, tis my great wish that you enjoy, and get real meaning, knowledge, and learning from whast I post here.
