Champagne at The Oasis on Aspen Mountain

Aspen Mountain now boasts the world's first portable champagne sled bar. For $15 you can now enjoy a glass from on the slopes, at The Oasis, wherever you can find it. The bar will be towed by a snow cat, and be a unique "yellow color. The bar will feature umbrellas, lounge chairs, a solar-powered sound system, flags and other eye-catching features that will make The Oasis stand out in the white snow." Plans are for the bar to be traceable via social networking sites.

The opposition worries about the inclusion of alcohol onto ski slopes that already are challenging courses. Slopes in Colorado have already been deadly without drunk skiers. Others have worried that it sends a message of high exclusivity about Aspen.
