Twelve people were killed and fifty eight were injured in the attack.
The shooting took place at a midnight premier of Bale's latest film, The Dark Knight Rises.
Bale's appearance has been a huge lift of morale to victims, their families, and the staffs of the hospitals.
His picture seems to show how all of Aurora, if not Colorado, feels about the shooting.
We're a little hurt by it, but we're determined; We won't forget those lost or hurt by the vicious crime, but we will move on, and be stronger yet.
Because of the tragedy there is now a cross in front of the Aurora city hall.
Our faith in humanity may have been challenged, but the area's faith in God has only grown stronger.
That is something no one can take from us, no matter what they do.
