72 Killed by Bomb in Quetta, Pakistan

Seventy-two people were killed when a bomb exploded in a vegetable market in Pakistan.

The Shia area of Quetta was rocked by the explosion, which injured over two hundred people.

After the explosion, Shia citizens massed in the streets and blocked police from entering the area.

They demanded heavier security and assurances of protection, before they will hold funerals.

Pakistan's Prime Minister has fired the province's chief minister and ordered heavier protection for the Shia in Quetta, in hopes of calming the crowds.
