On Wednesday, thousands lined the route that the casket carrying Hugo Chavez went down.
His casket was eventually set to rest, in public display, at a military academy.
Tens of thousands lined up to see the casket, see their beloved leader one last time.
A funeral will be held on Friday, with twenty-two heads of state expected to attend.
Afterwards, Chavez's embalmed body will be placed in a glass coffin, to be permanently displayed at the Museum of the Revolution.
Within the month, Venezuela will have to undergo an election, which is expected to very close.
