Rent rates are the highest ever, according to the Apartment Association of Metro Denver and the Colorado Division of Housing.
Their figures, released on Monday, list the average rent in the metro area as being $992, a month.
Vacancies, across the metro, are at nearly an all time low at 4.6%.
Expectations are for rent to continue increasing, while vacancies continue to decrease.
This is largely due to the continued influx of population from other states and countries, to the area.
