He and three others were killed when the MC-12 aircraft, that they were in, crashed near Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan.
It was his fourth tour to Afghanistan and Iraq.
Fannin was assigned to the 552nd Operations Support Squadron out of Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
