3 Killed as Muslims Hold Dhaka Siege

Thousands of Muslims poured into Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Sunday.

They came as part of the Dhaka Siege movement put on by Hefajat-e Islam and Jamaat-e-Islami.

The radical Islamist groups say that their goal is to be a Muslim version of the Occupy movement, seen in the US and Europe.

As part of the Siege, members of Hefajat

Protesters attacked police officers, who retaliated with tear gas and rubber bullets, killing three.

Over two hundred, on all sides, were injured in the clashes, including members of the press, who were singled out by the mob.
