Oil Explosion Kills 31 in Uganda

Thirty-one people were killed and ten injured when an oil tanker exploded in Uganda.

According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police the tanker was struck by another vehicle, causing a spill.

A crowd rushed to the scene, attempting to scoop up the leaking oil, and claim it for themselves.

However, a spark ignited a fire, which quickly caused an explosion, killing many who had gathered.
