Taliban Kills International Climbers in Himalayas

Militants attacked a base camp for tourists preparing to climb the Himalayas, in Pakistan.

Gunmen opened fire on the camp, killing nine foreigners and their guide.

The foreigners were comprised of one American, two Chinese, one Lithuanian, one Nepalese, one Slovakian, and three Ukrainians.

A spokesman for the Taliban claimed the attack was carried out by the terrorist group.
