Burning over twenty thousand acres, the fire has not burnt any buildings, but fears are it may soon.
Hermit Lakes and San Juan Ranch campgrounds have been ordered evacuated, due to the approaching flames.
Worries are that the town of Creede may also be ordered to evacuate, but so far they have not been told to do so.
