He was killed by a suicide bomber, in Tsamkani, Afghanistan.
Sisson was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
His decorations include: Bronze Star, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Sapper Badge.
