She and three other Americans were killed when mortars struck Bagram Airfield, in Afghanistan.
It was her first deployment.
Ember was assigned to the 68th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 43rd Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Carson, Colorado.
Her decorations include: Army Achievement Medal.
