Three hundred and seven people were aboard the flight from Seoul, South Korea.
When the aircraft landed, it's tail hit the runway, breaking off and causing a fire in the plane.
Passengers had to slide down chutes to escape the burning aircraft.
Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene and were able to put out the flames before some of the plane was engulfed.
For several hours the entire airport was shut down, with flights being diverted to as far away as Denver.
The NTSB is investigating the incident, as well as the FBI.
