46 Killed in Iraq Violence

Twelve separate attacks left forty-six dead in Iraq, on Sunday.

A car bomb struck a market in al-Ameen killing three and wounding thirteen.

In Balad a car bomb exploded killing four and injuring thirteen.

Three separate blasts struck Baqouba killing twelve and injuring sixty-two. Two of them were in residential areas, while the third struck a wedding party.

Ghazaliya saw two people die and seven injured by a car bomb blast.

Four people were killed and twelve wounded when a car bomb exploded in Madain. Another four were killed and thirteen wounded when a bomb struck a youth soccer game, in the town.

North of Mosul militants set up a fake check point and killed five soldiers who stopped at it. Inside the city a man was killed in a drive by shooting.

Eight were killed and twenty-seven injured when a blast hit a popular cafe in Shaab.

Another car bomb hit Zayona killing three and wounding six.

Over four hundred have been killed in August's violence.
