6.3 Quake Off Crete Shakes Mediterranean

A 6.3 earthquake struck off the coast of Crete, on Saturday afternoon.

It was felt across the Mediterranean, but caused no major damage.

The worst damage was reported near Chania, were a rock slide trapped a bus, but did not cause any injuries.

One person was injured, during the quake, when he panicked and jumped off of his balcony.

Inspections are taking place all over the island of Crete, to ensure all buildings, bridges, and roads are safe.
