Cyclone Phailin made land fall, Saturday night, tearing into India's east coast.
Nearly one million people have been evacuated from the storm's path.
With winds over one hundred and fifty miles per hour, torrential rains dropped ten inches of water.
Five people have been killed in the city of Gopalpur, which took an almost direct hit from the storm.
Phailin is already beginning to weaken and will lose strength the longer it is over land.
