On Tuesday, the United States Postal Service announced a rise in shipping prices.
First Class stamps will rise three cents to forty-nine cents a piece.
Post cards will go up a penny, to thirty-three cents.
Bulk mail, magazines, and packages will see a six percent increase in their costs.
All changes will take place on January 26.
The postal service only was able to get authorization for the price increase to last two years.
However, by that time, inflation could make the increases permanent.
