Review: The Legend of Hercules

The Legend of Hercules, which came out Friday, January 10, doesn't even have enough decent action to make it worth it.

This is truly one of those movies where the only good thing about it was that it finally ends.

It's laced with a love story with such cheesy lines that even George Lucas or Twilight would've avoided them.

Gladiator kept coming to mind as our lead is betrayed by his king, survives to be sold into slavery, and then rises through the gladiator ranks to fight in the main event and win his freedom.

While the movie also brings thoughts of 300, it fails to bring either of those movies great levels of action.

The acting could have used a lot of work, but halfway decent writing would've helped the actors out, a lot.

Do yourself a favor and don't go see this movie, don't watch it when it comes out on DVD, just never watch it.

If you really feel the need to get a Hercules fix, wait til July 25, when Hercules, starring Dwayne Johnson comes out.
