Interior Minister Ali Larayedh has been named the new Prime Minister of Tunisia.
Larayedh will have two weeks to form a new government, or face replacement.
Hopes are that internal disputes in Ennahda will now stop and that he will form a government which will end protests by the opposition.
He replaces Hamadi Jbeli, who resigned on Hamadi Jbeli, who resigned on Tuesday.
