27th Person Dies From H7N9

A twenty-seventh person has now died from H7N9, in China.

At least one hundred and twenty people have contracted the strain of bird flu, including one in Taiwan.

Medical treatment is normally able to save patients, especially if caught early.

H7N9 acts differently than other strains as it attacks the lower part of the lungs, while the others attack the upper.

When the upper lungs are attacked it causes coughing and respiratory problems, but when the lower part of the lungs are hit it causes high fevers and pneumonia, which are much deadlier.
