Wednesday morning construction workers were removing temporary supports from under the 202 Freeway.
As they were taking the framing down it collapsed on top of two of the workers.
One was found dead under the collapse, while the second was taken to the hospital and is now listed in stable condition.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
