Firefighters in New Mexico are reeling after a fire they were battling grew almost six times in size, on Wednesday.
The Silver Fire had been fifty-five hundred acres, on Tuesday night.
High temperatures and winds combined to spread the fire to over thirty thousand acres, by Wednesday evening.
Over five hundred firefighters have been battling the blaze since it began on June 7.
The town of Kingston has been evacuated since June 10, when the fire approached.
