Another suicide bomber killed four, at a village south of Mosul.
Three police were killed and a fourth wounded when a gunmen opened fire on them, in Tuz-Khurmato.
In Tikrit, two were killed and four wounded when a militant threw a grenade into a crowd.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but they are thought to be the work of Sunni groups.
