The West Fork Fire has burned over fifty-five thousand acres.
All four hundred residents have been forced to leave South Fork, Colorado as the fire continues it's march.
Several hundred fire fighters, aided by aircraft, are battling the flames.
A Type 1 Incident Team took over command of firefighting efforts, on Saturday.
Lightning initially started the blaze on June 5, but recent winds spread the fire very rapidly.
