2 Killed When UPS Plane Crashes in Alabama

Two people were killed in a plane crash, in Birmingham, Alabama, Wednesday morning.

A UPS cargo plane crashed about half a mile north of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.

Both crew members were killed, no one on the ground was hurt.

When it crashed, the plane broke into two pieces and caught on fire.

Emergency crews were able to put out the fire, before it spread too far.

The NTSB is investigating the cause of the crash.
